Satya Soin Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Nagrota Prehta was started with pre primary in the year, 2013 in a rented building at Nagrota Prehta (Basohli) by shri Pardeep ji(Prant Sangathan Mantri Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K). With the grace of almighty, the land for present sechool was donated by Sh. Massu Ram ji, Capt. Des Raj ji and Sh.Singho Ram ji. The foundation stone of the present school building was laid by the Sant Bal yogeshwar ji Maharaj on 17^th September 2015 on this land. The construction work of the first phase was completed in march 2016 and the school building was formally inaugurated on 6^th May 2017 by Shri Rajesh Soin ji(Vidyalya Sahyogkarta) in the August presence of Smt. Priya Sethi (Minister of State for Eduation, J&K Govt), Sh. Rajendra Khatain ji(Rashtrita Upadhyakshya, Vidya Bharti) and Sh. Surinder Attari ji(Mahmantri Vidya Bharti Uttar Kshetra).

This school is now recognised and permitted by Chief Education Officer, Kathua, J&K Govt. for running classes upto 8^th class.

As name shows Satya Soin Bhartiya Vidya Mandir is not just a school, it is the temple of learning, it is the temple of Maa Sarsawati. Here, we teach our childern to be better human being and not just accomplished academicians.
